Sara Bradley

Sara has always had a passion for all different forms of art. Not until her senior year of high school did she truly discover her passion and talent of cosmetology. As soon as she graduated from high school she began searching for the perfect place to pursue her dream. In January 2006, she enrolled at ONYX Premiere Hair Institute and her dream finally became a reality! After a year of hard work and determination, she graduated and became an ONYX Designer! She was then faced with the opportunity to become an Educator/Designer for the United States RUSK Design Team! After many extensive and intense trainings she proudly holds her title as a United States Rusk Designer/Educator. Sara loves all the many opportunities that ONYX and Rusk has presented to her, and looks forward to continuing her career with both companies for years to come!

What is your favorite thing about being a hair designer?
I really enjoy having the opportunity to come in to work everyday and do what I love. I love getting the chance to meet all sorts of new people and giving them the perfect new look to go with their style.

What products could you not live without?
Being Gutsy and Being Undressed. I love the volume and hold that Being Gutsy gives and I love to finish off my style with the shine and separation Being Undressed gives

What would you say is your best strength as a hair designer?
My best strength is my ability to listen to my client. It’s extremely important to me that I understand exactly what it is the client wants, and then apply that to the service. I also feel very skilled at formal hair design.

What is your favorite thing about working with the Onyx Design Team?
My favorite part about being part of the Onyx Design Team is that we really are a team! We are constantly encouraging each other, helping each other out, and feeding off of each other’s creative ideas. It’s great to work in a non-competitive environment and help each other out on a day-to-day basis!

How would you say Onyx is different from other salons?
We stay up to date on all the latest trends, techniques, and products! We are constantly staying educated so that we can bring you the latest, trendiest hair styles!

Why do you believe in Rusk over other hair care companies?
Rusk is all about education. They are all about keeping their designers educated and up to date on all the latest trends! In turn, we can take that back to the salon, and instruct our clients on how to take care of their hair! In this industry, you have to stay updated, and Rusk stays at the forefront of our industry constantly staying updated and ahead of all other companies!
