Erica Snead

Erica started out begging her little sister to be her “client” for haircuts at age 11. This graduated into Updo’s for family and friends in her teenage years. Being a hairdresser has always been a lifelong dream. After starting a family, Erica got the opportunity to enroll in cosmetology school. Through this experience Erica has found great friends that she is fortunate to work with still today.

What is your favorite thing about being a designer?
My favorite thing about being a designer is helping people fell better about themselves. I love being able to use my creativity in this industry everyday.

What RUSK products could you not live without and why?
The product I could not live without is wired, because it is very versatile for all hair types and can be reactivated by heat the next morning, which is nice for busy moms.

What would you say is your best strength as a designer?
My ability to listen to my clients and envision the best haircut for their lifestyles. I also love creating updo’s for special events.

What is your favorite thing about working with the ONYX Design Team?
My favorite thing about working with the ONYX Design Team is that they are not only my coworkers but they are also my friends. We are a true team that helps each other out with no competition.

How would you say ONYX is different from other salons?
The knowledge of everyone in this salon is amazing. We are up to date on modern styles. The customer service is a top priority here which is important because without the customer we would not exist.
